Khatiwada Elected As Central Member With The Fifth Popular Vote For The First Time

Dec 20, Kathmandu- Influential Nepali Congress youth leader Ram Hari Khatiwada has been elected as a central member for the first time.

Khatiwada has won the election for the open central member under the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress with the fifth popular vote. Khatiwada, who often won seats in the parliament, always lost to the central members of the Nepali Congress. But this time, he has managed to win the popular vote, beating the leaders who have repeatedly become central members and ministers.

He has received 2,832 votes. In the 13th election, Khatiwada was defeated by a narrow margin. Khatiwada, who was directly elected from Okhaldhunga in the 2070 CA election, had a strong presence in the parliament.
