Mar 19, Kathmandu- Director Dinesh Palpali has made a film based on Bhupi Sherchan's poem 'Chiso Ashtray’. It took seven years to make it.
It is clear that the cast and production team have been waiting for a long time to make the film. After waiting so much, the film has been released in the hall since last Friday.
The film seeks to show how people's dreams are blown away in Kathmandu. A young man enters Kathmandu, which is shown as a ditch. His dream is not so big but just to become a city guy from a village boy.
He meets two friends here. One of them has to become a street don. Another is to make a music track and work on a music video.
The three friends move forward together, from making music videos to fighting gangsters. And the journey of them begins.
Those who come from a village in Kathmandu or any other city can relate with the story of the Chiso Ashtray.
From the first released film Chiso Ashtray, Divyadev has revealed the possibility of becoming an excellent actor. His next film 'Rudane' is coming. Divyadev has managed to make Rudane wait and increase his expectations due to the energetic performance of Chiso Ashtray.
Chiso Ashtray does not disappoint the viewers who like to distinguish the colors of abstract paintings, understand the story of the film and guess for them. For those who want to watch an entertaining movie with an open story, without having to work hard to understand it, it can be as cold as the name implies. But if you want to watch a movie with a different taste, a Chiso Ashtray would be a good option.
