Mar 23,  Kathmandu-  Comedy Actor Suleman Shankar (Eku) says that he is fascinated by the name 'Eku'. 

Speaking on Headline Nepal Bishesh program with Presenter Sanjeeb Regmi, he said he gained popularity by playing the role of Eku in various comedy series including Meri Bassai.

Eku is loved as a wild character by children and old people. The audience liked it even when Suleiman introduced Iku after Meri Bassai in the film. But he says that even though he has played the role of a wild character, he has never met a wild person in his life.
