Mar 31, Kathmandu- Sukraraj Tropical and Communicable Diseases Hospital in Teku is preparing to start the 'Whole Body Checkup Package' service.

The hospital has stated that it is preparing to start a whole body checkup package, especially for those going for foreign employment. Dr. Manisha Rawal, director of the hospital, said that it would be easy to start the service as it has its own laboratory.

She said, "This is the government's center for verifying the health reports of those going for foreign employment. We are also planning to launch the whole body package service in the new year or in a few months due to the high demand of patients".

She said that they have the necessary manpower and equipment available in the laboratory. The number of patients undergoing CT scans at Shukraraj Hospital is very high. According to the hospital, 5 to 12 people undergo CT scans daily. Services including ultrasound, video x-ray, blood tests for various communicable diseases are also available.
