Calendars Published Without Approval To Be Seized

Apr 13, Kathmandu-  Nepal Panchang Adjudicating Development Committee is going to ask for clarification on calendars published without approval to be seized.

Executive Director Surya Prasad Dhungel informed that the committee meeting has decided to ask for clarification orally for the first time. According to sub-section (j) and (l) of section 7 of the constitution order approved by the cabinet meeting on January 4,2021 AD.

 There is a provision that calendars and calendars cannot be published without approval. The committee has published the information through the calendar that action will be taken if it is published without approval.

Three calendars have been published this year without the approval of the committee. Nepal, Muktinath and Jwala were published without the approval of the Panchang Committee. Similarly, nine calendars have been published without the approval of the committee so far, said a member of the monitoring sub-committee Khil Hari Ghimire .

Kathmandu, Dhanprapti Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, New Road, Kathmandu, Golden Future Savings and Loan Cooperative Society Limited, Tokha Municipality-7, Dhapasi, Kathmandu, Knockpin House, New Road, Kathmandu and Krishna Mohana Gaushala Far Western Province Ghimire informed that he was found to have done so.

The monitoring sub-committee has found that three calendars and nine calendars were published without approval in the first phase of monitoring. Monitoring is still ongoing. The committee has stated that the list of other calendars and calendars published without approval will be made public after the monitoring.

With the approval of the committee, 14 calendars and more than 800 calendars have been published so far. At present, more than 50 daily calendars have been approved by the committee. Arrangements have been made for calendars and wall calendars to be published online from outside the capital.
