April 19, Kathmandu- The father of the girl who filed the complaint against actor Paul Shah has also changed his statement. He had filed the complaint at the district court in Tanahu on Tuesday but later found out that it was not true.

' Based on the complaint of the girl's father, the police had taken actor Paul Shah into custody and started an investigation into the case of rape. Paul Shah is currently in custody pending trial on a court order in the case.

According to district court sources, the victim's father had indicated to change his statement during a conversation with people close to him. "He repeatedly told us what we would get by imprisoning the boy for 12 years," a court source said. Two days ago, the girl who was said to be the victim, had also said that she was not raped but was a close friend of artist Shah.
