I Am Excited For The World Cup League-2 Series To Be Held In USA: Sandeep

May 22, Kathmandu- Nepal national cricket team captain Sandeep Lamichhane said that he is excited for the ICC Cricket World Cup League-2 series to be held in the United States and will win as many games as possible.

He made the remarks at a press conference organized by the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) on Sunday to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and the United States.

"I'm looking forward to the League 2 in the United States. We will try to win as many games as possible", said Sandeep.

A tri ODI series involving Nepal, Oman, and the United States is being held in the United States from 8 June to 15 June. In this, Nepal will play 2/2 games with both teams.

Earlier, these three teams had played ODI in Nepal. Similarly, in 2021, these three teams played in Oman.

Coach Pubudu Dassanayake said that he has been the coach of both Nepal and the USA and said that this would be a good opportunity for Nepal.

League 2 is the basis for selection for the 2023 World Cup. We go ahead of the main competition. I have even become an instructor for the United States. So I'm excited for League-2 in the United States, "he said.
