Jun 2, Kathamndu: Actress Miruna Magar of the Nepali movie 'Kabaddi 4' has been protested against saying that she is trying to deceive an innocent.
Demonstrations have been staged in front of some movie halls in Kathmandu today demanding to stop the screening of 'Kabaddi 4'. A poster of the film has also been burnt in front of KL Tower in Chuchchepati.
Actress Miruna had filed a case against PhurbaLama, who is a Lama monk, saying that he had touched her private part during a promotion event. Police are investigating him for his indecent behavior. Protesters have demanded the unconditional release of the arrested Buddhist monk and an apology from the actress.
Further investigation is underway on the incident as a lot of footage recorded by the people present at the scene shows his innocence, according to the public. People are protesting to not screen 'Kabaddi 4' anymore in movie halls.
Headline Nepal Presenter Sanjeeb Regmi has given the latest update about the Actresses Miruna Magar and Phurpa Sherpa Tamang have agreed not to make the issue more controversial. While interviewing the spectators of Kabaddi's "The Final Match", Phurpa Tamang who has a permanent home in Mugu has apologized to the actress Magar and also apologized to the actress Magar as her brother.
Actress Magar has also apologized for the impact on the entire Buddhist community, monks, lamas, and sects from the incident that took place during the emergency response, even though she did not do anything to affect any caste, religion, or sect.
