'Festival Of Saraswati Pooja' Wins Emmy Award

Jun 20, Kathmandu- The prestigious Emmy Award is lifted by a Nepali. Directed by Jaswant Dev Shrestha, the film 'Festival of Saraswati Pooja' has won the prestigious Emmy Award for Best Television Oscar in Hollywood.

At the awards ceremony hosted by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest on Sunday night, he lifted the trophy through a film about Saraswati Pooja. The best-directed film depicts the importance of Saraswati Pooja, the mother of knowledge, and the culture.

This cultural film of him has won in the category of 'Outstanding Achievement in the Religion'. At the Emmy ceremony held in Palm Springs, California, he lifted the trophy and thanked all these Nepalese viewers including the Emmy members who voted for him.
