 Madhesh Pradesh Champion Has Won Title of  Strong Nepal Cup Under-15 Cricket Tournament

Jun 20, Kathmandu: Strong Madhesh Pradesh has won the title of Strong Nepal Cup Under-15 Cricket Tournament 2079. In the final match played on Sunday, strong Madhes won the title by defeating strong Bagmati Pradesh by 4 wickets.

In the final match played at Mulpani Maidan, strong Bagmati was invited to bat after losing the toss and scored 95 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Apart from Aakash Tomata adding 23 runs, other batsmen could not perform remarkably. On the bowling side, strong Simon Roy of Madhes took 2 wickets for just 10 runs in 4 overs.

In reply, strong Madhes completed the target of 96 runs by losing 6 wickets in 15.3 overs. Player of the Match Ranjan Yadav played an innings of 34 runs in the victory of strong Madhes. Strong Bagmati captain Yuvraj Khatri took 3 wickets for 16 runs but could not give victory to the team.

Simon Roy of strong Madhesh Pradesh was declared the player of the tournament while Janish Magar, Kamal Shahi of strong 11, and Yuvaraj Khatri of strong Bagmati Pradesh were declared emerging players of the tournament.
