Jun 23, Kathmandu- Pakistan's Finance Minister Miftah Ismail said on Wednesday that a Chinese bank and a Pakistani group had signed a $2.3 billion loan facilitation agreement. The country, which is grappling with a cash crunch in the next few days, is expected to get some relief.

Miftah Ismail tweeted the information. "The Group of Bank of China has signed a $2.3 billion loan facility today", he wrote. Pakistan had signed the agreement yesterday. We thank the Chinese government for this”.

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto tweeted, "Thank you Chinese President Xi Jinping and Foreign Minister Wang Yi and the Chinese people". A group of Chinese banks has signed a $2.3 billion loan agreement. The people of Pakistan are grateful to their everlasting friend China.
