After the Election Commission provides such a facility, the obligation to go to the District Election Office, District Administration Office, and Area Administration Office to register and update the voter list will end.

The Commission has prepared the necessary software for that purpose. The pre-listing process is in the final stages. Commission spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel informed that voter registration can be done online within the next 10 days. Currently, registration is being done through Biometric Voters Registration System (BVRS).

The commission has stated that it is going to upgrade the system. He said that the workload related to the registration of names in the concerned offices will be reduced by 70 percent after the operation of the system. The software is designed so that you can keep your details from mobile.
