Jun 28, Kathmandu- The trailer of the Nepali movie 'Dokh' has been made public.
The trailer was unveiled during a program in Kathmandu on Monday. The trailer depicts the environment of a football match between two villages during the Maoist armed struggle to assert their rights in the community forest.
The trailer seems to increase the audience's curiosity about the movie. Directed by Anup Baral, the film stars Diya Maskey, Manish Niraula, Lokmani Sapkota, Raj Thapa, Suraj Malla, Maotse Gurung, Roy Dibh, Kamal Devkota, and Sajan Thapa Magar among others.
The film has been produced by Sabin Gyawali and Manoj Adhikari. The film is based on the story of a tussle between two villages over the issue of community forests during the Maoist conflict.

Speaking to the media after the release of the trailer, director Baral said that the film was started in 2072 BS but could not be completed due to the earthquake, blockade, and Madhes movement.
He said the film traces the footsteps left by the Maoist armed conflict.
The film stars Shailendra D Karki, Ashta Maharjan's Dwandwa, Nimesh Shrestha's editing, and Rajan Kathet's story.
The executive producers of the film are Bhim Neupane, Om Gurung, Ranju Wagle Thapa, and the associate producers are Santosh Pathak, Dharma Adhikari, Pravin Pathak, Sumita Acharya, Deepak Khanal, and Yuvraj Bhattarai. The production of this film started about 7 years ago.
The film is being screened across the country on July 8 next year.
