I Have Demanded That Japan's Immediate Assistance Is Needed In Waste Management: Prachanda

Aug 10, Kathmandu- Chairman of CPN Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) has said that the visit to Japan is an achievement.

Prachanda, who returned to Nepal after a five-day visit to Japan, speaking at a press conference held at the Tribhuvan International Airport, said that Nepalese in Japan were very happy with the visit. President Prachanda said that when waste management was being done in Kathmandu Valley, he went to Japan and asked for help in waste management.

He said, "Japan is ahead in terms of development partners". We expressed our gratitude for Japan's support to Nepal. Japan is perhaps the world leader in waste management. They have made it so that no garbage can be seen.

"We demanded that we need immediate assistance in waste management", he said. He said that a parliamentary team is expected to come from Japan to supervise the upcoming union and state assembly member elections.
