Aug 10, Kathmandu- A motorcyclist died when it collided with a car in Sarlahi.

38-year-old Guru Prasad Dhungel, a resident of Hariwon Municipality-11 who is a motorcyclist, died in a collision with a car in New Road, Hariwon Municipality-10 on Wednesday afternoon.

Dhungel died when a car of Ba 7 Cha 9222, which was coming from west to east, hit a motorcycle numbered Na 33 P 2295, which was going from the opposite direction, at the New Road intersection on the East-West Highway.

After general treatment at Saraswati Hospital in Hariwon, Dhungel was taken to Vayodha Hospital Birganj for further treatment and the doctor declared him dead, according to the local police office Hariwon.

The car involved in the accident and the driver of the car, 50-year-old Rabindra Giri, resident of Chandragiri Municipality-1, Kathmandu, are under police custody.
