Aug 29, Kathmandu- The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has given a 24-hour ultimatum to Suraj Arcade located in New Road.

With the ultimatum of the metropolis, the traders there have started moving the goods. This morning, the team of the metropolis reached Suraj Arcade to vacate the basement. After the Chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balendra Shah, instructed to remove illegal transmissions from the basement of Suraj Arcade and around it, the team of the metropolis reached there.

The Metropolitan Corporation gave a 24-hour ultimatum to vacate the basement after the management of Suraj Arcade refused to do so despite giving a 35-day public notice. As Suraj Arcade does not allow parking in the basement, parking on the street causes chaos in the area.
