Increment In Corona Infections Let Chinese City, Chengdu In Lockdown

Sept 02, Kathmandu- China's Chengdu city has been locked down again due to the increase in the number of corona infections. The administration there has asked the general public not to go out of their homes unless there is an urgent need.

Due to the lockdown, more than 20 million people of Chengdu city are not able to go out of their homes. The infection rate is spreading rapidly and the risk is high. Also, since the risk areas have started to increase, activities other than packing food and goods have been stopped.

Corona infection was confirmed in 156 people in the last 24 hours in Chengdu. The Chinese news agency has reported that the Chinese government, which has taken a policy of zero tolerance for Covid, has intensified mass testing.
