Sandeep Lamichhane Case Update: Sandeep Was In A Hotel At Sinamangal For 7 Hours With The Victim

Sept 07, Kathmandu- It has been revealed that the captain of the Nepali national cricket team, Sandeep Lamichhane, who is accused of raping a minor girl, and the victim girl stayed in a hotel in Kathmandu for about seven hours.

On the night of August 21st, Sandeep and the girl were seen entering the hotel at 11:55 pm. On Tuesday, the police circle started collecting evidence after a complaint was lodged at Gaushala. Along with other evidence, the police have also collected the CCTV footage of the hotel where they were staying at Kathmandu-9 Sinamangal. The police said that they were staying in room number 305.

According to sources, Sandeep is wearing a white cap, white shoes, and a blue T-shirt. The girl was wearing a white jacket, a yellow t-shirt, and black jeans. It is seen that he stayed there for about seven hours and returned on August 22. The footage shows them returning from the hotel together at 6:46 in the morning. Sandeep has told the police that she was repeatedly raped at 12.30 midnight.

After filing the complaint, the police also conducted a health examination of the girl on Tuesday. The police are preparing to collect the evidence and issue an arrest warrant against Lamichhane from the Kathmandu District Court on Wednesday (Today). Before the incident, Sandeep and the victim had also gone to Nagarkot in Bhaktapur, as she mentioned in the complaint. The police have been deployed to collect the CCTV footage of the incident. The police department is investigating the incident.
