Mayor Of Pokhara Left The Responsibility Of Party District Chairman

Sept 10, Kathmandu- Dhanraj Acharya, Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City, has left the responsibility of Party District President.

After the internal circular of CPN United Samajwadi told him not to hold dual responsibilities, he handed over the district chairman of the party to leader Khadak Hamal on Saturday.

Vice President Hamal received the responsibility of the President from the transfer of responsibilities and training program held in Pokhara on Saturday in the presence of Jhalanath Khanal, a respected leader of the United Socialist Party. After Acharya became mayor, Hamal took over the role of acting chairman.

There are two vice presidents in the party. Dik Bahadur Rai (DB), Deputy Secretary of United Socialist Kaski informed that after Hamal became the President, the vacant Vice President's responsibility was given to Purna Lama. Another vice president, Jhapindra Regmi, remains unchanged.

Lama was now the deputy secretary. After he became the vice president, one post has become vacant among the three deputy secretaries. No other leader's responsibilities have been changed.
