SEP 22, Kathmandu: European Union is going to impose more sanctions on Russia. The European Union's foreign policy chief informed that the ministers of the European Union agreed to advance new sanctions targeting Russia in an informal meeting on Wednesday.
The EU will impose additional sanctions on Moscow after President Vladimir Putin ordered the first wartime deployment since World War II.
Speaking to reporters in New York, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said 27 states had made political decisions to implement new regional and individual measures. He informed that the ministers of the European Union also agreed to continue supplying more weapons to Ukraine.
