Dengue Infection Confirmed In 1,051 People In A Single Day, Death Toll Reached 32

Sept 26, Kathmandu- Dengue infection has been confirmed in one thousand and 51 people in Nepal yesterday Sunday. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 25 thousand five hundred 43 dengue infections have been confirmed in 24 thousand 492 dengue patients till this Saturday evening.

Similarly, three people died due to dengue infection on the same day. Along with this, the number of deaths due to dengue infection in Nepal has reached 32. This information is from the last month of Shrawan.

Out of 76 districts of the country, dengue has been confirmed, and the highest number of infections has been confirmed in 8,896 people in Kathmandu. Similarly, the number of people infected with dengue in Kathmandu valley has reached 12 thousand 35 people from 6 thousand two hundred and 18 in Lalitpur and 8 hundred and 81 in Bhaktapur.

Out of the valley, Makwanpur has seen the highest number of infections in 2,275 people. Dengue has been confirmed in more than two hundred people in Dhading, Chitwan, Dang, Rupandehi, Gulmi, Kailali, and Darchula. Doctors have said that the way to avoid dengue is to avoid mosquito bites.
