Sept 29, Kathmandu- The trailer of the film 'Nalapani', which presents the story of the war between Nepal and the British, has been released. The trailer of the film, which will be screened on October 21, was released at an event held in Kathmandu on Thursday.

The film presents the story of how the Nepalese army led by Bal Bahadur Kunwar bravely fought with the strength of khukuri and local weapons against the British forces with modern weapons at Nalapani.

Directed by Rimesh Adhikari, the film has Arjun Jung Shahi, Santosh Panta, Bhatsak Khanal, Poojana Pradhan, and Manoj Shakya in lead roles. The producer of the film is Manoj Shakya.

In the trailer release program, the president of Nepal Film Producers Association, Nawal Khadka, asked to give a chance to single screening of 'Nalapani' for a week as it is a film that presents the story of Nepali heroism.

Other speakers participating in the program were of the opinion that it should be declared a special film.
