President Putin Announced The Annexation Of Four Regions Of Ukraine To Russia

Oct 01, Kathmandu- Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced the annexation of four new regions of Ukraine to his country.

On Friday, Putin signed a document to incorporate Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia into Russia. A few days ago, Russia also held a referendum in these areas, which had already been occupied. He claims that most of the votes came in favor of merging with Russia.

In the next few days, the process of formally including these areas in Russia will also begin. President Putin has asked Ukraine to stop military operations and start negotiations. Putin has also made it clear that there will be no negotiations over the new territories he has taken over.
