Nov 10, Kathmandu- The Congress has decided to nominate Man Bahadur Limbu, a member of the party's general committee, in Morang 3(1). Congress Province 1 Vice President Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi said that since the party has decided to nominate Limbu, he is preparing to register his nomination.

According to the revised election schedule published by the Election Commission, Congress has been given time from 10 AM to 1 PM on Thursday for nomination registration.

After the death of 56-year-old Shekhar Chandra Thapa, the Congress candidate and Minister of Forests, Environment and Land Conservation of Province 1, the party has made Limbu its candidate.

Basnet said that the party made the candidate because he is a famous face in the area who has led the Limbu Navalisangh Morang as well as the former president of the district organization.
