Nov 21, Kathmandu- Yogesh Gauchan Thakali, the candidate of Nepali Congress Mustang for the House of Representatives, has won. The 29-year-old Gauchan defeated the 60-year-old UML candidate Prem Prasad Tulachan by 914 votes.

Gauchan has received 3 thousand 992 votes while Tulachan of UML has received 3 thousand 78 votes. Elected as a member of the House of Representatives, Yogesh is the son of Congress District President and former MP Romi Gauchan.

In the 2074 election, UML's Tulachan defeated Romi Gauchan who was a candidate from the Congress. The election commission is yet to announce the results. In this constituency, Sudesh Gurung of Rastriya Swatantra Party has got 87 votes.
