Nov 22, Kathmandu- Hari Dhakal, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has maintained his lead in Chitwan-1, beating the candidates of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML.
Rastriya Swatantra Party's Dhakal got 6,067 votes while Congress's Bishwanath Paudel got 5,080 votes. Similarly, Surendra Pandey of CPN-UML has got 4 thousand 523 votes.
Earlier, Pandey of UML was elected from Chitwan-1 in the 2074 elections.
