Nov 23,Kathmandu: Janamat Party candidate Shambhu Shah has won in the State Assembly (B) of Saptari Region No. 3. Shah has received 10 thousand 862 votes.
Election Officer Madan Prasad Parajuli informed that Videshwar Yadav (Vicky), the candidate of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), who is his closest rival, has received 10,814 votes. Shah secured his victory by defeating Yadav by a margin of 48 votes.
Earlier on Tuesday, Saptari's victory in both the provincial assemblies has come to the poll of the Janmat Party.
Satish Kumar Singh of Janmat has won with 16 thousand 734 votes in Region No. 2 (A). According to the Chief Election Office, Shailendra Prasad Sah, who contested the elections in coordination with the Janata Samajwadi Party and the UML, secured 8,292 votes.
Similarly, Mahesh Prasad Yadav of the public opinion won by getting 13 thousand 325 votes. His opponent Umesh Kumar Yadav of CPN (Maoist Center) candidate of Democratic Left Alliance has got 723 votes.
