RPP’s Deepak Singh Elected From Makawanpur-1

Nov 24,Kathmandu: Deepak Bahadur Singh of Rastriya Prajatantra Party   has been elected in Makwanpur 1 in the House of Representatives election.

Singh was elected with 27,816 votes. His nearest competitor Mahalakshmi Upadhyay (Dina) of  Nepali Congress got 25 thousand 434 votes.

Kamal Thapa, president of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal, who fought the elections with the UML election symbol, received 25 thousand 420 votes. Singh was previously defeated in the local election as mayor of Hetaunda municipality.
