Army 'A' Champion

Nov 25, Kathmandu- The organizer Tribhuvan Army Club 'A' team has won the title of the fifth edition of COAS Int'l Tri-Adventure. In the competition held on Friday from Baireni to Charoudi in Dhading, Army 'B' team came second and Armed Police (APF) club came third.

Paddle Nepal came third and Triathlon Dharan came third. The winner, runner-up, and third runner-up received Rs.2 lakh, Rs.150,000, and Rs.1 lakh respectively. Paddle Nepal, who came fourth, got 20 lakhs and Dharan, who came third, got 10,000 rupees. The best team award was won by the F.C.C Racing team.

The competition consisted of three events namely 6.7 km running, 26 km cycling, and 11 km rafting. 80 players from 20 teams including two from India, one from Britain, and foreigners living in Nepal participated in the competition. The best team award was won by the F.C.C Racing team. Defense Secretary Kiran Raj Sharma, Rathibrind, and officers of the Nepali Army presented the award to the winner.
