Polling Was Completed Peacefully In Bajura

Nov 26, Kathmandu: Voting in Budhinanda Municipality-5 of the district which was postponed was completed peacefully today. Voting was postponed after a dispute between the ruling coalition and the main opposition party regarding the election of representatives and provincial assembly members held on November 20.

Voters said that today's voting was completed peacefully. District Election Office Bajura informed that the polling started at 7:15 AM and ended at 5:00 PM at the polling station in Nandeshwari Mavi of Budhinanda Municipality-5, which was postponed on November 20.

Navraj Awasthi, head of the District Election Office Bajura, said that a total of 597 voters, including 312 men and 285 women, voted at the polling station of Nandeshwari Mavi where there were 999 voters.

Awasthi said that voters voted in a calm and fearless environment at the polling station which started at 7:30 in the morning and till 5 in the evening. Head of District Election Office Bajura, Awasthi, said that after the re-election of Budhinanda Municipal Ward 5 postponed voting, the counting of votes will be discussed after the ballot boxes arrive in Martadi.
