Nov 29, Kathmandu- A billionaire who is said to have ties to Russia's foreign intelligence has died in a mysterious helicopter crash.

A businessman named Vyacheslav Taran was killed in an accident near the resort town of Villefranche-sur-Mer after flying from Lausanne, Switzerland.

The French pilot who was with him was also killed. The accident took place in Alpes-Maritimes, southeast of Franconia.

Another person was supposed to board the helicopter but he canceled at the last moment.

The incident happened on November 25. A single-engine helicopter operated by Monaco Air has met with an accident.

Earlier, 10 billionaires in Russia died under mysterious circumstances in a period of one year.
