Dec 09, Kathmandu- Two Nepali films have been screened in the hall today on Friday.

The movie 'Desaan' starring Namrata Sapkota and the movie 'Soul of the Commando' starring Rajkumar Rai have been screened in the hall.

Directed by Kamal Ekchai Magar, 'Desaan' stars Nishan Chauhan, Poonam Thapa, Bhola Sapkota, Kabita Ale, Shambhu Thapa, Kshitij Subedi, Arush Jung Saru, Malaika Basnet, Pramisha Saru, Kamala Rana along with Namrata. This is the debut film of Poonam and Nishan.

The screenplay of the film, which is based on the story of Raj Thapa Kaucha, is written by director Kamal Swayam. The film shows the vicissitudes of extramarital affairs in married life.

Produced under the banner of Performing Art Creation, Krishala Magar is the executive producer. The film was shot by Chakra Bahadur Maharjan and edited by Milan Shrestha.

In the film 'Soul of the Commando' directed by Yuvraj Rai, along with Rajkumar, Shishir Wangdel, Naren Khadka, Sheshuka Rai, Milan Rai, Ravi Thapa, Rupesh Jha, Pushpa Shrestha, Seema Rai, Narendra Limbu, Poorna Limbu, Kamala Khapung Limbu, Sushmita Limbu, Angel Rai, Tika Ram Thakuri, Sonika Rai and other actors are acting. The story of the film has been prepared by Milan Rai.

Rajkumar Rai has returned to the acting field after 24 years with the film 'Soul of the Commando'. He acted in the lead role in the movie 'Commando' in 1998. Even now he can be seen in the main role.

Milan Rai, Ravi Thapa, and Dhan Limbu are among the producers of the film produced by Silichung Films Private Limited.

The cinematography was by Dirgh Gurung and the film was edited by Nahkul Khadka.

Currently, Mahapurush, Drishyam 2, Vediya, Unchai, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever are showing in the hall.
