Dec 11, Kathmandu- Police have arrested a man who tried to kill his own brother by shooting him with a loaded gun in Taplejung. Police arrested 41-year-old Kumar Limbu, a resident of Baitangu, Tapethok, Phaktanglung rural municipality-5 of the district, with an illegally loaded firearm.

According to District Police Office Taplejung Information Officer and Police Inspector Kushram Karki, Limbu attempted to kill his own brother Dhan Bahadur Limbu, 44, by firing a loaded gun at around 8 pm last Friday. Police inspector Karki informed that his brother was killed because he did not get hit by firing the gun.

Limbu was arrested by a police team from Tapethok Police Station with a loaded gun. According to the District Police Office, a case has been registered against Limbu who was involved in the killing industry and arms embezzlement.
