Dec 21, Kathmandu: A Maoist leader has filed a complaint against Baiju Yadav, mayor of Rautahat's Madhav Narayan Municipality, at the Hetaunda Office for Investigation of Abuse of Authority.

CPN-Maoist Center Madhav Narayan Nagar Committee Chairman Dev Narayan Bhagat filed a complaint with the authority demanding an investigation into the involvement of responsible employees including Mayor Yadav. President Bhagat has said that Mayor Yadav has filed a complaint for investigation as it appears that Mayor Yadav is submitting arbitrary bills, corruption in every work, and opaque and capricious financial manipulation.

In the joint initiative of Madhav Narayan municipality's common conscious citizens, communication workers, administrative bodies, the mayor, and staff were accused of hiding the bill budget file with a criminal mindset and stealing it. Earlier, Madhav Narayan Municipality's contract services office assistants are in the custody of the Garoda area police office on the charge of hiding some accounts and important documents.
