Dec 21, Kathmandu: Lionel Messi, the captain of Argentina, who returned home after winning the World Cup in Qatar, has released a photo of himself sleeping with a Trophy.

He posted a photo of himself sleeping with the trophy by writing 'Good morning' on social media. Argentina's football team returned home from Qatar on Monday night. A plane arrived from Argentina to pick them up. The winning team was accorded a grand welcome in the capital, Winners Ayers.

After 36 years as his captain, Messi has won the World Cup for Argentina. The Argentine government declared Tuesday a public holiday to celebrate the victory. In the pictures, Messi can be seen sleeping with the trophy on his bead and in one, he is sipping something with his arms still wrapped around the trophy. It took him years and several losses to finally win it, and he is taking utmost care of it.
