Woman Injured By Elephant Attack

Jan 25, Kathmandu- A woman who went to Shuklaphanta National Park was injured by a wild elephant attack on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Shah, Spokesperson of District Police Office Kanchanpur, 55-year-old Lallu Sarki of Laljhadi Rural Municipality-6, Dhaka, who went to the park to cut grass, was injured. According to the police, the seriously injured from the elephant attack are being treated in Belauri. In the third week of Paush, a local was injured by a wild elephant attack in Shuklaphanta municipality-12.

The park had opened there for two days for the consumers of the intermediate area.
