Jan 27, Kathmandu- Actress Malika Mahat is acting and the film is directed by Laxman Subedi and is named 'Sati Devi' Director Subedi has announced the name of the film after registering it with the Film Development Board.

Presented by Desa Kerasan in association with Golden State Movie Merchants LLC California, the film stars Malika with Bhola Sapkota, Kuldeep Adhikari, and Manisha Sapkota in lead roles.

"Some actors are still being selected for the film," said Subedi, "She will be seen in the role of 'Sati Devi' in the film".

The film, which will start shooting in the first week of Falgun, has Laxman's own story, screenplay, dialogues, production, and songwriting. Laxman is preparing to shoot the climax in Kathmandu by shooting most of the film in the village.

Laxman informed that other actors in the film will be selected soon. There will also be a one-week workshop for the film before starting the shoot. The latest film of film journalist Subedi, who made his directorial debut with 'Euta Saathi', is 'Laljodi'.

Laxman was preparing to direct and produce the film 'Thagaraj'. The song for the film had also been recorded. However, he is going to make this film because the plot of this film needs to be studied more closely.
