A School With Technology Was Built In Myagdi

Jan 27, Kathmandu:  A technology school will be built in Beni Municipality-3 Bhakimli of Myagdi with the financial support of Nepalese migrants who have gone for foreign employment.

A magnificent school building with state-of-the-art technology has been constructed in Bhakimli with the financial support of more than 30 million rupees from the Nepalese who have gone abroad for work in Saehi Municipality-3. A 20-room concrete building has been constructed on the initiative of local residents and expatriate Nepalis.

Ram Bahadur Pun, the former headmaster of the school, said that the people of Bhakimli who went for foreign employment contributed more than 30 million rupees for the same school building which was built at a cost of 344 million rupees. The building of Jayanti Mavi in Bhakimli village of Savik, which was already in a very dilapidated state, became unusable due to the 2015 earthquake.

Because of this, Bhakimli residents who had gone abroad were involved in a support campaign for the construction of the school building. The school management committee and the school administration appealed to the residents of Bhakimli who had gone for foreign employment after the previous district education officials did not see any assistance from anywhere else except providing 50 million rupees for the construction of the building.

The chairman of the school management committee, Padam Pun, said that there was a lot of support from the residents of Bhakimleli who were migrating for the construction of the school building. He said that with the support received from the people who sweat day and night and work abroad, the children of the village will be able to study inside the well-equipped building.

The school bought the latest technology machine and made the building by making bricks for building construction in the village. Now, after painting, it is seen that the same modern-style school building is intact. The number of students has also increased after the construction of a school building with state-of-the-art technology in the village. Chairman Pun said that their interest in education has also increased.
