APF Won The Tiger Cup Volleyball Title

Jan 28, Kathmandu- The APF Club of the Armed Police Force has won the women's title of the 'Third Tiger Cup National and International Invitational Open Club Championship Women and Men Volleyball Tournament' held in Pokhara, Kaski.

In the match held at Pokhara Stadium on Saturday, APF won the title by defeating another divisional Tribhuvan Army Club in a set of 3-1.

APF won the first set by 25-20, while Army won the second set by 25-22. APF won the game 25-8 in the third set and became the winner by winning the fourth set 25-22 points.

While APF bagged the trophy prize with Rs 5 lakh, the runner-up Army received Rs 250,000.

The match for the men's title of the tournament has started between the home team of Gandaki Province and the APF Club of the Armed Police.

Tiger Group of Pokhara Nepal has organized the tournament from the 22nd of January with the goal of developing the volleyball game and producing players of the national and international level needed for the country.
