Feb 4, Kathmandu:  Nepali won a lottery worth around 83 million rupees.

Ranjit Kumar Pal of Dhanusha, who is working in Qatar, won the lottery worth 23 million dirhams, which is about 83 million Nepali rupees. He received this amount by becoming the winner of the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi Lottery which was announced on Friday.

Pal, who has been working in Qatar for seven years bought this lot with his friends on January 16. He is currently working in Eastern Exchange Money Transfer in Qatar. He said that he had spoken with the organizers and had already sent his documents.

After receiving the money, he said that he will distribute it among his friends who have invested in buying the lottery ticket and send the amount to Nepal. He said that even if he wins the lottery worth millions of rupees, he will not stop what he is doing.
