Feb 6, Kathmandu: Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Bimala Rai Poudyal returned home on Sunday after visiting Sri Lanka. She was there to participate in Sri Lanka's 75th Independence Day celebrations.
While returning home, Minister Paudyal while talking to reporters at the Tribhuvan International Airport said that there was a high-level 'sideline' meeting along with participation in the official program of Sri Lanka. She informed that she had a courtesy meeting with President Ranil Wickramasinghe and Prime Minister Dinesh Gunabardane and discussed various matters of mutual interest and interest.
She said that she had discussed cooperation with Bhairahawa International Airport on issues such as an expansion of air connectivity, and cultural exchange between the two countries. During her visit to Sri Lanka, Minister Paudyal had separate meetings with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of India, the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, Maldives, and Sri Lanka.
