Mar 08, Kathmandu: Popular comedian Sagar Lamsal's father and folk singer Rajendra Lamsal passed away at the age of 60.
He was living in Spain and was unwell for a few months. Family sources said that he died on Monday. Arjun Ghimire Pandey, the director of the comedy teleserial Sagar Lamsal is working on, has paid tribute to Lamsal by posting on social media.
Rajendra's song 'Japan Tokyo' gained a lot of popularity. Dozens of his folk songs are very famous.
