Petition Submitted To The SC With The Demand Of Vice President To Be A Woman

Mar 14, Kathmandu- The petition submitted to the Supreme Court with the demand that the Vice President should be a woman has been rejected.

Advocate Radhika Khatiwada submitted the writ in court on Monday. On Saturday, the Office of the Election Officer of the Vice President confirmed the candidacy of the Vice Presidential candidate Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav for the post of Vice President.

After studying the writ with the demand that the vice president should be a woman after a man was elected as the president, the court hearing was held on Tuesday by the order of the registrar.
