Tiktok Has Been Banned In New Zealand Too

Mar 18, Kathmandu- New Zealand has also banned the use of TikTok on government devices. Along with America, Britain, and other countries banning Tiktok on government devices, New Zealand also raised the issue of security risk and announced a ban on Tiktok on government devices.

The New Zealand government believes that the Chinese government, through ByteDance, the parent company of Tik Tok, has gained access to users' location, contact data, etc., and that the data may be misused.

In New Zealand, by the end of this March, it is said that TikTok will be banned on all devices that have access to the Parliament's network. Before this, TikTok was banned on all types of devices used by New Zealand's security forces, government employees under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the ministry.
