Mar 20, Kathmandu- A cyclist died in Saptari due to a collision with a motorcycle.

The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Md Ibrahim Mia, a resident of Khadak Municipality 8. District Police Office Saptari said that a motorcycle numbered 10 P 3524 hit Mia on Sunday evening in Bisanpur Bodebershain road section of Khadak Municipality 8 Bhadiya in the district.

Police Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Naresh Kumar Singh informed that when the motorcycle hit the bicycle from behind, Mia who was seriously injured was sent to Biratnagar for treatment and died on the way around 10:30 pm.

Similarly, 19-year-old Afroz Mia and 20-year-old rider Md. Sanabul, who lives in the same Municipality 7 Kalyanpur, are undergoing treatment, according to District Police Office Saptari.
