Double Digit Growth In NEPSE Index Today

Mar 20, Kathmandu: The NEPSE index, which measures share trading in the securities market, rose by double digits today. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index rose by 22.65 points and reached 1,949.06.

The sensitive index, which measures the share turnover of large companies, rose by 2.97 points and reached 366.23. A total of 13 sub-groups traded increased in share price. A total of 52 lakh 55 thousand 86 shares were bought and sold at the price .

According to NEPSE, IME General Insurance Company is in the top position in terms of turnover. The turnover of that company was worth 7 crores 63 lakh 92 thousand 442 rupees. Also, NIC Asia's Rs 6 crore 19 lahks 95 thousand 922, Citizen Bank's founder's share Rs 5 crore 85 lahks 27 thousand 100, Shivam Cement Rs 4 crore 13 lacks 77 thousand 502 and Himalayan Distillery Rs 3 crore 42 lakh 62 thousand Shares worth 820 have been traded.
    
In today's business, the share price of Unique Nepal Laguvitta has increased by 10 percent, and a positive circuit has taken place. The share price of Nyadi Hydropower increased by 7.73 percent, New Sarathi Laguvitta by 6.18 percent, Manushi Laguvitta by 5.67 percent, and Bindavasini Hydropower by 4.77 percent. Also, Support Microfinance by 5.36%, Swabhiman Microfinance by 4.72%, Sanima Growth Scheme by 4.45%, Win Nepal Microfinance by 4.08%, and Lakshmi Equity Fund's share price decreased by 3.85%.
