Apr 01, Kathmandu- The epicenter of the earthquake was Maling in Lamjung. According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center Lanchaur, an earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale occurred at 11:39 am this morning with its epicenter at Maling in Lamjung.

Earlier today, at 11:27 AM, an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 took place in Dolakha's Suri epicenter. In recent times, there has been an increase in the occurrence of earthquakes centered in the eastern and western regions of Nepal. The Himalayan and hilly regions of Nepal are considered earthquake-risk areas.

The shock of the Dolakha earthquake was also felt in Okhaldhunga, Ramechhap, Sindhupalchok, Nuwakot, and Kathmandu valley. Earlier on March 15, a 4.6 Richter scale earthquake occurred at the epicenter in Taplejung.
