Apr 01, Kathmandu- As westerly and local winds are active, it is currently raining in different parts of the country. According to the weather forecast division, there is light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning, and windstorm in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

According to Ganga Nagarkoti, meteorologist of the division, now the influence of local and western winds is more in Kosi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

She informed that this system is active all over the country. She also informed that it will be active till Saturday night and will be gradually withdrawn from Sunday.

On Saturday night, there will be partial to normal showers across the country, according to the forecast division. Light rain with thunder and lightning is forecast in a few places of hilly areas.

According to the division, on Sunday afternoon, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly areas of the country including the Koshi region.
