Our party will form a two-thirds government: Rabi Lamichhane

Apr 01, Kathmandu- Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has claimed that his party will form a government of two-thirds.

He made this claim while speaking at a press conference held in Kathmandu on Saturday to announce the candidate for the by-election to be held on April 23.

Chairman Lamichhane said that thousands of capable people like Swarnim Wagle and Ramesh Kharel joined his party and said that he envisioned the day when the party would form a majority government.

He said that experts like Wagle and Kharel will lead the government as ministers and middlemen and bribers will end in the country.

Lamichhane said, "I am envisioning that day - when we will form a majority government, a two-thirds government. Where our parliamentarians will be throughout the parliament in policy making. And experts like you will run the ministries in the government that we run, the government under our leadership. Where the middlemen and bribers will end. This country will make better policies. And, it will ensure the future of our coming children. I am dreaming of that day".

Speaker Lamichhane also said that when his party gets the majority, good policies will be made and the future of the new generation will be assured.
