International Level Scientific Conference In Nepal

May 27, Kathmandu- An international scientific conference has started in Nepal. More than three hundred chemists from India, China, Korea, Japan, and Bangladesh participated in the conference. At this conference, research papers of different 6 disciplines were presented.

The International Chemical Conference 2023 started at Park Village Budhanilkanth in Kathmandu under the theme of Chemistry for Sustainable Development under the auspices of Nepal Chemical Society, an organization of active chemists in Nepal and co-organized by Central Department of Chemistry University.

Foreign Minister NP Saud inaugurated

Inaugurated by Foreign Minister NP Saud on the 11th of this conference, various scientific research papers based on micro technology, material science, environmental science and chemistry are being presented and discussed.

 President of Nepal Chemical Society Prada Surendra Kumar Gautam chaired the inauguration and other formal programs were conducted by Dr. Santosh Khanal, secretary of the organization.

World Health Organization's Nepal Representative Rajaram Pote Shrestha, Scientist Dr. Basant Giri, Nepal Government Ministry of Health and Population Representative Ekdev Khanal, Dr. Rejina Maskey, Professor of Trilogy, a group discussion was also organized on the role of chemists in controlling the health problems caused by environmental pollution, with US Ed. Nepal representative Shrisha Nankhwa and public health expert KC Reeti as speakers.

The General Secretary of the organization Associate Prof. Dr. Mahesh Kumar Joshi has been given the responsibility of writing the Kathmandu Manifesto 2023 to be issued by the three-day conference.
